This policy forms part of our Terms of Service and applies to uploaded images, text visible in those images, translation instructions and generated results.
Authorized use
Only upload images you own or are authorized to process. You are responsible for the source material, the translation request and how you use the generated result.
Prohibited content
You may not use Image Translator to create, facilitate or distribute content that:
- Pornography or NSFW content — sexually explicit material, nudity or erotic content of any kind.
- Violence or gore — graphic depictions of violence, injury, death or bodily harm.
- Hate speech — content that attacks, demeans or incites hatred against a person or group on the basis of race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or other protected characteristic.
- Child-unsafe content (CSAM) — sexual content involving minors, child sexual abuse material, or any content that sexualizes children. This content is prohibited without exception and may result in account termination and reporting to the appropriate authorities where permitted or required by law.
- Deepfakes and impersonation — non-consensual deepfakes or deceptive impersonation of real individuals, brands or organizations.
- Copyright or trademark infringement — material you do not own or are not authorized to reproduce, adapt or distribute.
You may also not use Image Translator to facilitate terrorism or extremism, provide instructions for weapons, incite violence or genocide, spread malicious misinformation, commit fraud, harassment or unlawful surveillance, or attempt to bypass authentication, payment, credit limits, file validation, rate limits or provider safeguards.
Content moderation
We and our AI service providers may use the following measures to assess suspected violations:
- Automated safeguards. Safety tools and AI-provider restrictions may flag or reject uploaded images, translation instructions or generated results. Requests that violate applicable safety restrictions may be blocked.
- Review of reports and appeals. Authorized personnel may review the content and related task information needed to investigate suspected abuse, user reports or appeals. Access and handling are subject to our Privacy Policy.
Automated checks can make mistakes. We do not guarantee that every violation will be detected or that every image will receive human review. Do not attempt to bypass safety checks or resubmit prohibited content to evade a restriction.
Enforcement
Depending on the severity of a violation and the account's history, we may:
- Reject or block a task, or remove or restrict access to content;
- Restrict or limit access to features;
- Suspend the account pending review;
- Terminate the account for serious or repeated violations;
- Preserve relevant information and report suspected unlawful activity to the appropriate authorities where necessary and permitted or required by law.
A rejected request that does not create a task does not consume translation credits. If a created task fails or is blocked and marked as failed, the credits charged for that task are restored. Currency refunds are handled under our Refund Policy and applicable law.
Reporting
To report content that may violate this policy, contact support@translateimages.net with the relevant task ID, if available, and a description of the concern. Please do not attach illegal material. Reports are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Knowingly false or abusive reports may themselves violate this policy.
Appeals
If you believe an enforcement decision was made in error, email support@translateimages.net with the relevant task ID, if available, and the reason for your appeal. We will review the relevant information and correct confirmed mistakes.
